A one-year parts warranty applies to all components or accessories that have been manufactured by or for American Holt Corporation. American Holt warrants that all parts manufactured by or for American Holt shall perform as well or better than the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) under normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from ship date. American Holt’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of any parts that, upon examination by American Holt shall be deemed defective. American Holt shall assign manufacturer warranties for parts manufactured by others, such as motors, belts, and bearings, etc. Any failure by the purchaser to properly use the parts shall absolve American Holt of all warranty liabilities and obligations here. Parts returned in good working condition, as determined by American Holt Corp., will be charged a 20% restocking fee.
The warranty is extended to the original purchaser only. American Holt Corp. warranties do not extend to normal wear and maintenance, or to any parts or equipment subjected to misuse, neglect, accident, improper maintenance, altered or modified.

Reverse engineering timelines are determined after our engineering and sales teams evaluate the part. The timeline for reverse engineering a part is dependent on its complexity. Typical lead times range between 1-4 weeks. This process can be expedited under certain circumstances and emergencies.

Yes, American Holt will send a sample to your organization. A purchase order will be placed in order to receive a sample, but if the part fails or doesn’t meet quality expectations, the part will be returned and the purchase order will be cancelled. In other cases, if we are offering a new part that needs to be tested, it may be sent to your organization for testing purposes. The American Holt engineering team will determine the duration of testing, the time allotted to return the part, and whether it meets expectations. The duration of testing and allotted period to return a part varies depending on the complexity of each individual part.

There is no separate engineering fee. If the part is made, we absorb the cost in order to sell the parts to all of our customers. The organization is responsible to pay for the part to be sent to American Holt, but there is no charge for the evaluation. If American Holt is able to make the part, a quotation will be sent to the customer. A charge is only applied if a customer places an order.
